The original mount inscribed 'Jedburgh Abbey' in another hand. The original mount further inscribed 'Jedburgh Abbey by T. Girtin' and 'Belonged to Dr. Munro / Christie's Sale 27 March 1936. / Lot No.1.'. Provenance: Dr Thomas Monro (1759-1833); ...
