In 1799 bad weather effected the harvest which, combined with the war with France, had a great effect on prices, including the price of Porter and tobacco. Supporters of the opposition put the blame squarely on Pitt, seen here as Death on the White Horse of Hanover. 14.25x10.25 inches.
