Alexandra of Denmark (1844-1925); 'The Landau in which the Princess Alexandra passed through London, March 7th/63'. Pencil, watercolour and gouache. Signed, inscribed and dated. Princess Alexandra arrived in England three days before her wedding to Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (Edward VII) on 10 March 1863. She processed through London to Windsor, where the wedding took place. Further drawings by Dudley recording the events surrounding the Royal marriage are in the Royal Collection. 5.5x9 inches.
