Pen, ink and watercolour. Signed 'Wm. Beckford f' and dated, 181(9?). We have not been able to establish whether this is THE William Beckford (1760-1844); a popular ghost story certainly fits with his interests. Miss Baily's Ghost is an old folk song that often appeared as a Broadside Ballad.
