After the c.1504 predella panel by Raphael (MET 32.130.1), then in the collection of Angela Burdett-Coutts, 1st Baroness Burdett-Coutts (1814-1906) and presumably copied while on loan to the Royal Academy 'Winter Exhibition' 1875/1876. Provenance: gift of the artist in 1882 to Dr. John Ogle (1824-1905); Bonham's, Chester, 5th March 2013, Lot 395; Private collection; Chiswick Auctions 24th April 2025, Lot 5; from where aquired by the previous owner. 9.5x11 inches.
