'Illustrazioni dell' Opere d'Omero e Aeschilus'; an album of 54 drawings after Flaxman's illustrations to Homer and Aeschylus. Pen and ink. c.1810. This volume is testament to the impact Flaxman's line illustrations had on artists here, and on the continent. His illustrations to the Iliad were made in Rome, engraved by Piroli and first published in 1793. His illustrations to Aeschylus appeared in 1795 with many editions being printed throughout Europe.
