These are World War II watercolours by Squadron Leader JULIUS STAFFORD-BAKER (1904-1988)
An intelligence Officer and unofficial war artist for the RAF-the Imperial War Museum hold 40 of his works-he took his watercolours with him wherever he was posted. He was particularly interested in recording the Chaos that mechanised warfare left behind.

Painted inland from Yarmouth, Norfolk.
The artist was present at both War Crimes trials(Nuremburg and Tokyo)
